Pat Petersen 1959-2015
Pat Petersen, a longtime member of our Long Island running community, has passed away. The Petersen family is in need of our help and support.
Patrick Petersen passed away May 31, 2015, age 56 of Pancreatic Cancer.
Pat’s marathon PR of 2:10:04 at London Marathon in 1989 was, at that time, the US record and held till 1997,now ranks No.17 among US marathon runners.

Depending on your status, now is the time to get back in shape or to get in better shape. There's not a lot of events going on in the winter. It's too wet and cold. Many of you travel to warmer climates in February. We now have many friends who live or travel to other parts of the country or other countries. We invite you to share with us on any of our Facebook groups. Tell your story and send photo's. Group photos are always fun.
