Help Wanted at Races! We need help keying in registrations before each race. Two hours work before you run. We'll pay your registration or pay you. Then you can watch your friends run. Contact Us
More advanced help wanted: We need someone with a truck that can tow a trailer for help setting up at races.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Path in Calverton on Facebook 10Mile Run
Island Running is working with the Town of Riverhead on a 10 mile run around the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Path in Calverton. Save the Date! November 12, 2017. Construction is beginning soon. Completion in the fall. We will celebrate with a run/walk at the grand opening. We are forming a committee to organize this race. Long Island Trails Committee. Runners and Hikers are invited to join the club and serve on a trails committee. We currently work and hike the Paumanok Path, the Veterans Memorial Path and we are working on connector trails in the Riverhead and Brookhaven. LI Trails Newsletter
We also need help with managing our races. We need volunteers to help at races. Registration, water stops, course set up and other management volunteers are needed.. We can only do this with your help. Sign up for our Volunteers Committee.
Island Running Club is a RRCA member. We are looking for local leaders to form running groups around Long Island.

Manhattan is an Island too! Geographically speaking, Brooklyn and Queens are on Long Island. Island Running is branching out. We have worked races in Central Park and Battery Park. Depending on your status, now is the time to get back in shape or to get in better shape. There's not a lot of events going on in the winter. It's too wet and cold. Many of you travel to warmer climates in February. We now have many friends who live or travel to other parts of the country or other countries.
