You don't have to join the Island Running Club to participate in our group runs and races, but it helps us in our efforts to provide these services. Joining the club provides the funds we need to pay our membership to the Road Runners Club of America, it pays for the insurance we have to carry to provide these services  and it provides the seed money we need to manage new events. Join The Island Running Club
Join as an individual or family. Join as a veteran or active service in our Armed Forces. Join as a race director and show your support and we'll support you in promoting your races.

Depending on your status, now is the time to get back in shape or to get in better shape. There's not a lot of events going on in the winter. It's too wet and cold. Many of you travel to warmer climates in February. We now have many friends who live or travel to other parts of the country or other countries.
